The Seattle Mariners activated shortstop Ketel Marte from the 15-day disabled list.
Mononucleosis kept Marte out for around three weeks but he's now healthy enough to be activated. The 22 year-old owns a disappointing .273/.299/.358 slash in 74 games (300 plate appearances) this season and is only 8-for-13 in stolen base attempts.
Marte posted a solid .330 wOBA in 57 games last season as a rookie, but has seen his wOBA this season fall to .284, well below the current league average (.318). We project him to hit .271 with a .683 OPS over the rest of the year.
