The New York Mets are not interested in acquiring Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Daniel Hudson, per the New York Post's Joel Sherman.
There had been reports from MLB.com that the Mets and Diamondbacks were close to a deal, but that now doesn't seem to be the case.
Hudson has had a rough season, and is sporting a 4.25 SIERA that is the worst since his rookie year. We project him for a 3.78 ERA and 19.00 percent strikeout rate over the remainder of the season.
