Colorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon is not in the Rockies starting lineup for Tuesday night's tilt against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Owners need not be concerned, as it's a standard day of rest for Blackmon. Center field will be taken over by Brandon Barnes while left-hander J.A. Happ toes the rubber for Toronto.
Blackmon has 12 home runs, 39 RBI's, 47 runs and six steals this season, contributing to a 2.02 nERD that ranks 42nd in the big leagues. He's hitting .300/.368/.512 while posting a .376 wOBA across 282 appearances at the plate.
