The Los Angeles Dodgers will not start James Outman against the Colorado Rockies on Thursday.
Outman will catch a breather on Thursday while the Dodgers have Enrique Hernandez cover centerfield and bat eighth against the Rockies.
Outman's first full season has been a successful one, with the young outfielder sustaining a .800 OPS through 556 plate appearances. He's up to 23 homers, 85 runs, 69 RBI, 15 stolen bases, and a .252 batting average this season.
