The New York Mets activated catcher Travis d'Arnaud from the 15-day disabled list.
d'Arnaud will serve as Bartolo Colon's battery mate on Tuesday and hit eighth against the Kansas City Royals. He has been out since April 25 with a strained rotator cuf, so it may take some time for him to get back in the swing of things. However, he did get a lengthy rehab assignment of 52 plate appearances in High-A and Triple-A, where he posted a .415 wOBA.
D'Arnaud played just 13 games this season (52 plate appearances) before getting hurt, slashing .196/.288/.261 without a home run and a .255 wOBA.
