Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt will be on the bench Monday afternoon against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Goldschmidt has been lighting it up recently, and this is nothing more than a standard day of rest. Phil Gosselin will bat second and man first base versus Phillies right-hander Jeremy Hellickson. Our models recommend Gosselin as a solid value play for Monday's DFS slate.
Goldschmidt has cranked 14 long balls and 45 RBI's this season, while also stealing nine bases. He's posted a .399 wOBA across 314 plate appearances, which are the fifth-most in the majors. His 3.55 nERD also ranks sixth in the big leagues.
