The Colorado Rockies placed starting pitcher Tyler Chatwood on the 15-day disabled list with a mid-back strain.
Chatwood had to exit his Saturday start after just 1 2/3 innings and he was apparently not feeling better on Sunday. However, the team does not expect him to be out past the 15 days. Eddie Butler will fill in for Chatwood while he is out.
Chatwood was having a solid season before going down, posting a 3.15 ERA and a 1.23 WHIP over 85 2/3 innings. Our models project him for a 4.10 ERA over 81 1/3 innings remaining this season.
