Minnesota Twins outfielder Alex Kirilloff is not in the lineup for Friday's series opener against left-hander Yusei Kikuchi and the Toronto Blue Jays.
The left-handed hitting Kirilloff will sit versus the Blue Jays' southpaw. Donovan Solano will start on first base and bat leadoff. Willi Castro will be in the two-hole for the Twins.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Twins' implied total is 4.11 and the game total is 8.5. Kikuchi has a 4.40 ERA and 5.40 xERA this season, with a 22.9% strikeout rate and 7.6% walk rate. His 48.1% hard-hit rate ranks in the bottom 10th percentile of the majors.
