Tucker Barnhart was not listed in the Chicago Cubs' lineup for Sunday's game against the San Diego Padres.
Barnhart will take a seat Sunday while Yan Gomes takes over at catcher and hits sixth against the Padres.
Barnhart is batting just .156 so far this season.
