Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Pavin Smith is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Colorado Rockies.
Smith will move to the bench on Tuesday with Evan Longoria starting at designated hitter. Longoria will bat fifth versus left-hander Kyle Freeland and the Rockies.
