San Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford went 2-for-3 with a three-run triple and four total RBI in Tuesday's 8-2 win over the San Diego Padres.
Crawford notched his first RBI with a single in the sixth inning. He would come through again in much louder fashion in the bottom of the eighth. Stepping to the plate with the bases juiced, the 29-year-old shortstop brought 'em all home with a three-run triple off reliever Keith Hessler to blow open what had been a 3-1 game.
Crawford is slashing .256/.330/.438 through 160 at bats this season. He has six home runs and 26 RBIs on the season.
