Texas Rangers reliever Matt Bush is being called up on Friday, reports MLB.com's TR Sullivan.
FOX Sports' Jon Morosi has confirmed the report. A former No. 1 overall pick and shortstop who was in prison for three years following a DUI hit-and-run, Bush has resurrected his career as a pitcher.
Now 30, he holds a 2.65 ERA with 18 punch outs and four walks over 17 relief innings for Double-A Frisco this season.
