Texas Rangers pitcher Sam Dyson earned his first save of the season Wednesday in a 6-5 defeat of the Chicago White Sox.
Shawn Tolleson had thrown 39 pitches between a pair of outings Monday and Tuesday, so he was given the day off Wednesday afternoon in Arlington, Texas. But it looks like Dyson is the Rangers' best option for high-leverage situations right now anyway. There's no change in roles yet, but Dyson remains a smart fantasy stash.
Dyson struck out one of the three batters he faced in a hitless ninth inning on Wednesday and boasts a 2.12 ERA in 17 innings this season. Tolleson has a 5.40 ERA in 13 1/3 innings.
