Houston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's series opener against right-hander Kyle Bradish and the Baltimore Orioles.
Gurriel will grab a seat while Trey Mancini takes over on first base and Yordan Alvarez starts in left field. Yainer Diaz will work as the Astros' designated hitter and No. 8 hitter.
