Oakland Athletics second baseman/left fielder Tony Kemp is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday afternoon against right-hander Spencer Strider and the Atlanta Braves.
The Athletics appear to be giving Kemp a breather for the day game after a night game. Jonah Bride will take over on the keystone and hit sixth while Vimael Machin moves into the leadoff spot. Cody Thomas will start in left field again.
Bride has a $2,400 salary on Wednesday and numberFire’s models project him for 6.9 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Athletics’ implied total (2.68) is the lowest in the majors today.
