Washington Nationals designated hitter Nelson Cruz (knee) is in the starting lineup on Tuesday against left-hander Jose Quintana and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Cruz will be the designated hitter and No. 2 batter after missing the last three games with a knee problem. Luke Voit will be on first base and Joey Meneses will start in right field.
