St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Lars Nootbaar is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against left-hander Mike Minor and the Cincinnati Reds.
Nootbaar is yielding right field to Brendan Donovan and leadoff duties to Tommy Edman. Paul DeJong will replace Nootbaar in the lineup to play shortstop and hit seventh. Donovan will bat ninth, which is where Edman hit from Tuesday.
