Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Alek Thomas is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the San Francisco Giants.
Thomas will move to the bench on Wednesday with Ketel Marte starting at designated hitter. Marte will bat third versus right-hander John Brebbia and the Giants.
