Chicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup on Tuesday against right-hander Jason Alexander the Milwaukee Brewers.
Contreras exited Monday's game with a hamstring injury and he will be held out of the lineup for at least one game. Yan Gomes is starting at catcher while Rafael Ortega serves as the designated hitter and leadoff batter. Nico Hoerner is hitting second.
