Chicago Cubs infielder Alfonso Rivas is not in the lineup Monday in the team's game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Rivas is being replaced at first base by David Bote versus Brewers starter Eric Lauer.
In 156 plate appearances this season, Rivas has a .235 batting average with a .651 OPS, 3 home runs, 16 runs, 22 RBI and 3 stolen bases.
