Chicago Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Heyward will move to the bench on Thursday with Nelson Velazquez starting in right field. Velazquez will bat eighth versus left-hander Jose Quintana and the Pirates.
