Colorado Rockies infielder/outfielder Kris Bryant has been scratched from the lineup Monday night.
Bryant was originally slated to hit third and play left field going up against Pirates starter JT Brubaker. But due to a back ailment, he has been removed from the lineup - though the team says he'll be available off the bench. Sam Hilliard will now take over in left field and hit eighth.
In 73 plate appearances this season, Bryant has a .270 batting average with a .676 OPS, 11 runs and 4 RBI.
