The Cincinnati Reds did not list Kyle Farmer in their lineup for Monday's game against the Chicago Cubs.
Farmer will take the night off while Matt Reynolds covers shortstop and Brandon Drury rejoins the starting lineup at second base and bats second.
Farmer is projected to make 379 more plate appearances this season, with 10 home runs, 43 runs, 41 RBI, 5 stolen bases, and a .251 batting average.
