The Minnesota Twins did not list Jose Miranda in their starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Guardians.
Miranda will sit out Sunday's game while Ryan Jeffers steps into the lineup at catcher and bats eighth. Gary Sanchez will start at designated hitter and Luis Arraez will take over at first base.
Miranda has made 46 plate appearances so far in his rookie season and is batting .114 with a .379 OPS.
