St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Steven Matz will start on Thursday afternoon against the Baltimore Orioles.
Matz was previously scheduled to start in Friday's series opener against the San Francisco Giants, but he was bumped up a day after Jordan Hicks was scratched. Hicks will now pitch on Friday.
