The Boston Red Sox did not include Christian Vazquez in their lineup for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Vazquez will catch a breather Sunday while Kevin Plawecki starts behind home plate and bats eighth.
Vazquez notched 3 hits in 5 plate appearances in Friday's win over the Rays, scoring 1 run and knocking in 2 RBI.
