Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Pavin Smith is sitting Sunday in the team's game against the Colorado Rockies.
Smith is being replaced in right field by Kole Calhoun against Rockies starter German Marquez.
In 544 plate appearances this season, Smith has a .268 batting average with a .733 OPS, 11 home runs, 68 runs and 49 RBI.
