Texas Rangers outfielder Leody Taveras is batting ninth in Friday's lineup against the Cleveland Indians.
Taveras will patrol center after DJ Peters was moved to left field, Willie Calhoun was announced as Friday's designated hitter, Andy Ibanez was moved to third base, and Brock Holt was benched.
