Texas Rangers outfielder Leody Taveras is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Alex Cobb and the Los Angeles Angels.
Taveras is taking a seat after starting the previous five games. D.J. Peters is replacing Taveras in center field and hitting sixth.
