Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Pavin Smith is sitting Saturday in the team's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Smith is being replaced at first base by Christian Walker against Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw.
In 529 plate appearances this season, Smith has a .261 batting average with a .719 OPS, 11 home runs, 65 runs and 48 RBI.
