Cincinnati Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart is not in the lineup Friday in the team's game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Barnhart is being replaced behind the plate by Tyler Stephenson against Cardinals starter Jon Lester.
In 337 plate appearances this season, Barnhart has a .267 batting average with a .745 OPS, 7 home runs, 38 runs and 43 RBI.
