Minnesota Twins catcher Ryan Jeffers is sitting Sunday in the team's game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Jeffers is being replaced behind the plate by Mitch Garver against Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright.
In 169 plate appearances this season, Jeffers has a .205 batting average with a .720 OPS, 9 home runs, 15 runs and 26 RBI.
