The Atlanta Braves are acquiring outfielder Adam Duvall from the Miami Marlins in exchange for catcher Alex Jackson.
Duvall provides the Braves with another outfielder to help the club with their playoff push. He played in 131 games for the Braves between 2018-2020 before signing a one-year, $5 million deal with the Marlins this past winter.
Duvall is averaging 10.3 FanDuel points per game this season while slashing .229/.277/.478 across 339 plate appearances. He ranks among the top-10 in the National League in both home runs (22) and RBI (68) this season, but Duvall's strikeout percentage (31.0) ranks in the bottom fifth percentile.
