Chicago Cubs third baseman/left fielder Kris Bryant is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Luis Castillo and the Cincinnati Reds.
Bryant appears to be getting a routine breather in the day game after a night game. Ian Happ is replacing Bryant in left field and hitting fifth. Anthony Rizzo is also out of the lineup as trade rumors continue to swirl.
