San Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford (oblique) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Monday.
Crawford is expected to miss 10-to-14 days after suffering a mild oblique strain. According to manager Gabe Kapler, Thairo Estrada will handle shortstop duties while Crawford is out.
Per Baseball Savant on 25 batted balls this season, Estrada has produced a 8% barrel rate and a .300 expected average.
