Minnesota Twins outfielder Nelson Cruz is not in the lineup Sunday in the team's game against the Kansas City Royals.
Cruz is being replaced at designated hitter by Jorge Polanco against Royals starter Brady Singer.
In 202 plate appearances this season, Cruz has a .280 batting average with an .858 OPS, 10 home runs, 27 runs and 25 RBI.
