The Chicago Cubs did not list Joc Pederson as a starter for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Pederson will sit Sunday out while Jake Marisnick enters the lineup at center field and bats seventh. Kris Bryant will move over to left field.
Pederson has had a slow start to the 2021 season. He's made 78 plate appearances in his first season as a Cub, and has 1 home run, 7 runs, 6 RBI, a .172 batting average, and a .545 OPS.
