San Diego Padres infielder Manny Machado is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Machado moves to the bench on Wednesday with Ha-Seong Kim moving to third from shortstop and Fernando Tatis Jr. returning to the starting lineup. Tatis will bat third versus JT Brubaker and the Pirates.
