The Minnesota Twins did not list Jake Cave as a starter for Monday's game against the Texas Rangers.
Cave will take a seat Monday as Jorge Polanco re-enters the lineup. Polanco will bat sixth and play second base, while Luis Arraez will drop back to left field.
Cave is projected to make 282 more plate appearances this season, with 10 home runs, 32 runs, 34 RBI, 1 stolen base, and a .222 batting average.
