Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. is sitting Tuesday in the team's game against the New York Yankees.
Acuna was diagnosed with a mild abdominal strain after undergoing an MRI on Monday. He's officially considered day-to-day, and as a result, he'll sit in the first game of a short series against the Yankees. Ehire Adrianza is getting the nod in right field in Acuna's place, facing off against Jameson Taillon.
In 72 plate appearances this season, Acuna has a .419 batting average with a 1.373 OPS, 7 home runs, 21 runs and 16 RBI.
