Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Gavin Lux will not play Thursday in the team's game against the Colorado Rockies.
Lux was originally slated to hit sixth and play shortstop, but he's been removed from the lineup due to wrist soreness. It's unclear how severe the ailment is, but in any case, he'll sit Thursday. Edwin Rios is now entering the lineup after some reshuffling, and he'll bat sixth against Rockies starter Austin Gomber.
In 45 plate appearances this season, Lux has a .220 batting average with a .562 OPS, 4 runs and 5 RBI.
