Minnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler is not in the starting lineup for Monday afternoon's series opener against left-hander Martin Perez and the Boston Red Sox.
Kepler will grab a seat while Jake Cave shifts to right field and hits ninth. Kyle Garlick will start in left field and bat second. Kepler is batting .250 with 4 doubles and a triple so far this season, plus a couple of steals.
