San Francisco Giants infielder Donovan Solano is not starting in Sunday's contest against the San Diego Padres.
Solano will rest on Sunday afternoon after Wilmer Flores and Austin Slater were named San Francisco's starting second baseman and designated hitter.
In 189 at-bats this season, Solano is hitting .328 with 3 home runs and 29 RBI.
