Boston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts is not starting in Friday's contest against the Atlanta Braves.
Bogaerts will rest on Friday night after Jonathan Arauz and Christian Arroyo were named Boston's starting second baseman and shortstop.
In 196 at-bats this season, Bogaerts is hitting .294 with 10 home runs and 26 RBI.
