Brad Miller is not in the St. Louis Cardinals' lineup for Monday's game against the Kansas City Royals.
Miller will catch a breather Monday while Kolten Wong rotates back into the lineup at second base and bats leadoff. Matt Carpenter will take a turn at designated hitter, while Tommy Edman moves to third base.
Miller is batting .238 over 154 plate appearances and has 7 home runs.
