Boston Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez is out of Saturday's lineup against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Vazquez will receive a breather with Kevin Plawecki starting behind the plate and J.D. Martinez handling designated hitting duties.
In 140 at-bats this season, Vazquez is hitting .271 with 4 home runs and 12 RBI.
