San Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against left-hander Kyle Freeland and the Colorado Rockies.
The Giants are sitting both Crawford and fellow lefty bat Brandon Belt in Wednesday's matinee against the Rockies' southpaw. Daniel Robertson, who was acquired from the Tampa Bay Ray last week, will make his first start for the Giants at shortstop and hit eighth.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Giants-Rockies matinee has the highest over/under (11.5 runs) on Wednesday's slate. The Giants have an implied total of 5.38 runs.
