The Cleveland Indians acquired right-hander Cal Quantrill from the San Diego Padres in the Mike Clevinger trade.
Quantrill transitioned to the Padres' bullpen this summer but he could move back to a starting role in Cleveland. The 25-year-old right-hander recorded a 2.60 ERA with 18 strikeouts in 17 1/3 innings (10 appearances) for the Padres this season.
numberFire's models expect Quantrill to record a 4.13 ERA and 23.3 strikeout percentage over the rest of the season.
