St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Giovanny Gallegos is traveling to summer camp.
Gallegos could arrive as early as Saturday, and the team is hopeful that he can take part in their workout that day. Gallegos as been away from the team after not being cleared to participate. The 23-year-old tossed 74 innings for St. Louis last season, recording a 2.31 ERA, 93 strikeouts, 0.811 WHIP, and 16 walks.
