Minnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz is not starting in Thursday afternoon's series finale versus right-hander Jordan Zimmerman and the Detroit Tigers.
Cruz went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored during Wednesday's win over the Tigers, but he's taking a seat Thursday. Jonathan Schoop is at DH while Luis Arraez is on second base and batting second. Willians Astudillo is covering the three-hole. Ian Miller is playing left field and leading off the order in his first MLB start.
Cruz has averaged 14.2 FanDuel points in 118 games for the Twins this season.
